I recently accumulated a couple of new accessories. One is a brilliant handheld device that instantly connects me to everything. The other one is an iPhone.
It's a mala for mantra meditation. I'm re-connecting with my hippie side. I gather it's Tibetan--I just thought the skulls looked cooler than sandlewood beads.
It's interesting how many different cultures have the same transfer-spiritual-angst-through-chain-of-beads thingys: Rosaries, Muslim prayer beads, malas...
