Bob Kane-era Batman stuff

Three takes on old-school Batman: A Batmobile based on the Phantom Corsair and rendered in vector; a re-imagining of the cover of Detective Comics #27; and my take on Catwoman's original costume from 1941. I think if I ever got to do Batman I'd want to skip the modern paramilitary take on the character and just do hard-boiled crime stories set in the forties.

Trinquette: Miss Morrigan

This week's entry for the Trinquette pinup challenge. Subject: some video game character I never heard of. This one took me three days and three attempts, because I really struggled with the wacky, hyper-detailed costume. After giving up on my first attempt I hit on the idea of stripping her down and casually folding the two sets of wings. Even so the second attempt was still hopeless. Finally on the third try a cute Bettie Page quality started to emerge, and I felt satisfied with it.
